Jason Walker 09/06/12 History capital of Massachusetts tea Party The topic I take a pull in chosen to write about is the capital of Massachusetts tea leaf Party. This Tea Party was basically a resistant movement against the British G everyplacenment. The reason why is because the British G all overnment started to mould taxes on the tea, and other things like the stamp act, to make the colonists supply for the protection they get from the British force that is there. But the colonist did non want to pass for those taxes at all. Reason being, is because the British multitude was not need. They have already defeated the French and pushed the Indians extreme west, so the colonists would be paying for protection against nothing. Agents for tea finish the orders of tea because of the tax, but still there was ships that came into harbor and they demanded that the colonists pay for all this tea, with the tax. On December 16th, 1773, a group of appoint dressed l ike Indians and boarded the ships with tea and threw all the tea over board into the water. This act is now famously known as the Boston Tea Party. I found my sources online and in the library. In the library I found the book in the magnate of beasts cat-ology on their website and found many books that had information about the Boston Tea Party. The two online sources I found by Google. I know that everything that the SLU library has is a good source of information, because if it wasnt, recent they wouldnt have it in their inventory. The online sources ar a pint-size more tricky to know if there good or bad. For sources online, I only use the websites that have an .edu or .org on the end, not a .com. Reason for this is because the edu and org is actually good sources because those atomic number 18 from real professors, teachers, or professionals of the topics. Thats how the source is also valid. It makes it abash when there is a com at the end of the website because anyb ody can do whatever they want and all the in! fo can be false.
